What follows are frequently asked questions about managing your account. Click the question to hear the question and answer. Each answer is followed by a back to top link that leads back to the list of questions.
What is the 'My Digital Account' page? The 'My Digital Account' page is a collection of links you can use to access your account information. When you attempt to access this page, you will be prompted to enter your library card number into a secure sign in form. We require your library card number to ensure the security of your account. What is the 'My Checked Out Items' page? The 'My Checked Out Items' page lists all of the materials you currently have checked out. You can download materials from the 'My Checked Out Items' page. The 'My Holds' page lists all titles that you have currently placed on hold. You'll receive an email notification once a title you have placed on hold becomes available. Note that if a title has become available since you placed the hold, an 'Add to Cart' link will be displayed next to the available title. Use this link to add the title to your Cart and check out. You can use the 'Wish List' page to save a list of titles that you are interested in checking out, including titles that have not yet been released. What are 'My Mobipocket PIDs'? Every copy of Mobipocket® Reader contains a PID, a 10 character code that uniquely identifies that copy of Mobipocket Reader. Upon download, this system uses the PID to tie a Mobipocket eBook you borrow to the device(s) on which you want to read it. At the 'My Mobipocket PIDs' screen, you can register up to 3 PIDs to your account, and review previously entered PIDs. For more information on PIDs, click here. What is the 'Lending Periods' section? The 'Lending Periods' section displays the default lending period for each format available at this site. If desired, you can use this section to set personalized default lending What is the 'Rated Titles' page? Once signed in at this site, you can rate titles on a scale of 1-5 stars. If you have previously rated titles, you can review and, if desired, change or remove these ratings at the 'Rated Titles' page. |
